Fostering Cultural Humility to Address Chronic Stress & Trauma

Join us as we explore the intersection of cultural competence, humility, and trauma-informed practices.. In this session, educators will learn about cultural humility—a key element in creating inclusive, responsive learning environments. Participants will gain insights into recognizing and addressing chronic stress and trauma through a culturally sensitive lens. What is cultural humility and how can we use practical strategies to integrate these concepts into your teaching practices? What is chronic stress and trauma? What evidence-based strategies can we use to tailor your teaching approach, ensuring it is culturally responsive and supports the diverse needs of your students?
