Location: Red & Blue Events Venue at 1415 W. 7th Street in Little Rock at the corner of 7th and Woodlane.
This session offers an exercise in perceptions, perspectives, and presumptions. We all bring our own experiences and assumptions to the relationships we build. Recognizing the limitations of our exposure—and making space for perspectives different from our own—can help us listen more effectively, build greater trust, strengthen connections, and become more successful fundraisers.
What are the parking options?
Parking spots are located facing the Red & Blue Events Venue, and additional parking is available in the Victory Building Parking Deck, which is located diagonally across from Red & Blue.Enter the deck from 6th Street and park in Visitor parking on the ground level.
Cost: $1/hour or $5/day
There are also some spots available on nearby streets.
More about our speaker:
Angela Webster, Ph.D.
Dr. Angela has been a leader in K-12 and higher education for many years. In K-12, she served as a school designer, principal, executive coach, consultant, and school board member. In higher education, she has served at Predominantly White Institutions, a Historically Black College/University, an art college, and a women's college in the Middle East.
At the University of Central Arkansas, she serves as Associate Vice President of Student Affairs, leading the Office of Student Advocacy and Community. She also maintains the academic rank of Associate Professor of Leadership Studies.
She has authored newsletters, journal articles, book chapters, and books. She designs and facilitates educational programming for communities and organizations.
Dr. Angela earned a B.B.A. in Human Resources Management, an M.S. in Higher Education Curriculum and Instruction, and a Ph.D. in educational psychology, all from the University of Memphis. She is an American Council on Education Fellows alumna, trained as a life coach, and licensed as a school administrator (TN). Dr. Angela has received local, regional, and national awards.
She loves exploring life and listening to over 100 audiobooks per year. She mothered two children and is Glam-Ma to five grand-candies who bring her boundless joy.
