Foster Care: Rewriting the Story in Cherokee County

Join us for an evening of community, connection, and action as we work together to support children and families in the foster care system.

In Cherokee County, the story of foster care is being rewritten every day by dedicated foster parents, volunteers, and community partners. But there is more work to be done. We invite you to be part of the solution.

• Dinner & Connection: Start the evening by mingling with neighbors and local advocates over dinner.
• Insightful Panel Discussion: Hear firsthand accounts from foster parents in the Love Box® program, volunteers serving in the Love Box® and Dare to Dream® programs, and leadership from Cherokee DFCS.
• Hands-On Service: Participate in a meaningful service project by helping us assemble "Sunshine Boxes" to bring encouragement to local families.
• Pathways to Impact: Learn how you can make a tangible difference, whether through becoming a foster parent, volunteering as a mentor, or providing monthly financial support.
