Fossil Rim Photo Safari!

We're heading back on a safari to Fossil Rim. It is always a favorite destination from the Fort Worth Camera events calendar!

This workshop takes you to Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, an accredited zoo and conservation center, to ride in their open-air safari vans to photograph the native and non-native species they support there! Get close to all of the action during this exclusive event with the always fun, friendly & informative Fort Worth Camera staff that will offer hands-on, expert advice!

Optional transportation from Fort Worth Camera in our workshop van is available to the 1st 10 participants!

We will board the Fossil Rim vans at 8:00am and the tour will be approximately 3 hours long. Afterward, we will eat at Hammond’s BBQ in Glen Rose for lunch!

We should be back in Fort Worth no later than 3:30. Entry to the park and lunch are both included in the price.

Equipment suggestions:

Telephoto lenses for distant animals and wide-angle lenses for when they approach the safari van. Consider a polarizing filter if you have one!

Water bottles and weather appropriate attire are recommended.
