Join hatchery staff and volunteers in exploring the most common fossils found in the Lake Cumberland Region! Enjoy a brief discussion to learn what makes a fossil, how they form, where they are found, etc. with hatchery volunteer, Scott Morris. Bring your own fossil to be identified by Dr. David Meyer from University of Cincinnati. All ages welcome!
Activities for kids include, excavating your own fossil to take home, coloring sheets, stenciling fossil prints, and story time!
