About this Event
Forum for the Maumee River Valley
Welcome to the Forum for the Maumee River Valley!
Join us in person for a great chance to connect with locals, share ideas, and explore what makes the Maumee River Valley so special. Whether you’re passionate about nature, community, or just curious, this event is a laid-back way to get involved and learn more. Don’t miss out on the fun and conversation—come hang out with us!
Because our future matters, this morning event is an opportunity for residents, stakeholders, leaders, tourism partners, and others across the Maumee River Valley to meet and network with people from Defiance, Henry, Lucas, and Wood counties.
The forum format will allow for open discussion in a casual environment and will provide an opportunity to ask questions and seek answers.
The committee wants this event to be educational, participatory, and future-focused. We also hope it will foster fellowship and pride among attendees.
You will enjoy the south-side river setting of Oberhaus Park at the Rotary-Lions Community Center, 750 W. Maumee Ave., Napoleon, Ohio.
Knowledge is best shared when people come together, and events like this are one of the strongest ways to make that happen. The future of our great valley is up to all of us.
As the Maumee Valley Scenic Byway Corridor Management Plan (CMP) states, “The overarching goal of the CMP is to strengthen community participation in the scenic byway by enhancing public awareness, building consensus, and fostering ongoing involvement and support for the corridor.” This event will be a great start.
