Fortified, the legendary Glagow Dustep, Grime & Garage club night returns after a long hiatus for a series of parties at the Flying Duck.
Launched in 2006 Fortified blazed the way for Glasgows bass music heads, giving the likes of DMZ, Skream, Shackleton & Appleblim, Pinch, Peverelist, Benga, Magnetic Man, Horsepower & more their Scottish debuts, as well as giving a plethora of local talent an opportunity to play on an amazing soundsytem to a receptive crowd.
For our first night in the Flying Duck we welcome one of the pioneers of the scene, El-B. His early 2000's dark garage releases like the classic Buck & Bury created the blue print for what would become known as Dubstep, along with the likes of Horsepower and Zed-Bias. He is no less prolific now, check the Ghost Recordings bancamp for evidence of this, and wee look forward to his return to play Glasgow as he blew The Vic bar up when he played our 3rd birthday there many moons ago. https://el-b.bandcamp.com/
