With winter behind us and more folk with a spring in their step, 100% Phat is bringing the good time pre-summer vibes to the carpark this month as we welcome one of Melbourne's finest perveyors of Afro-Latin sounds, LIXXXTRADO. LIXXXTRADO
Born on Whadjuk Noongar Land, with Indigenous Amazonian origins to Povo Mura in Brazil, Lixxxtrado is an artist, event organiser and social activist. Drawing from his cultural background, Lixxxtrado’s works aim to pay homage to his roots and connect people through art.
Having began DJing and producing at 18, Lixxxtrado has worked as a full-time DJ, event organiser and music producer for nearly 10 years. As a DJ skilled in hip hop, Lixxxtrado represents his Brazilian roots paired with contemporary styles. Notable gigs include having opened and toured with prominent acts such as Criolo, Marcelo D2, MC Guime and Neue Grafik. With an ability to play to the room and explore different genres, Lixxxtrado weaves his diverse flavours within live sets.
