Event Overview:
Host: Ryan Johnson, Naturalist Firecraft NW
Info: Amble through the 117 acres (trail is 1 mile) of wetland and upland forest where flowers and fungi are blooming everywhere. Plants will be bursting with spring growth and we’ll look for clues on how to identify them. Ryan Johnson (Firecraft NW) is a naturalist whose specialty is plant ID and wildlife tracking. We’ll explore the differences between wetland plants and upland forest species and learn which animals find the new growth tasty to nibble on. Bonus: Ryan also knows his birds, which we will keep an eye and ear out for. Bring the whole family.
