This is a very popular urban paddle area in Fort Worth that includes Panther Island. We’ve all paddled it several times, but do you know all of the history that we pass along the way? It’s pretty incredible how much has happened along that stretch of the Trinity since the mid 1800’s!
We’ll paddle from White Settlement Trailhead Park on the West Fork to Rotary Plaza on the Clear Fork, and back again. This is a 12.5 mile round trip, along the way we’ll talk about all of the things that have happened here over the last 175 years!
When it’s all over, maybe we’ll have time to swing by the Panther Island Brewing Company and enjoy a beer and hanging out with paddle friends.
Intermediate trip for distance and group paddling. PFD and whistle required by law, and you must know how to swim. We are all responsible for our knowing our own skill level!
