Fort VI English Tour. International Guests Welcome!
Join us for a historic one hour walk through the undergrounds of Fort VI in Poznań.
Fort VI is the best-preserved of all Poznań forts, featuring unique original elements such as a 56-ton armored observation post.
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to see the barrack rooms, the main powder magazine, the armored observation post, over half a kilometer of underground corridors, and walk along the fort moat.
In addition to the permanent exhibition on fortifications and military history, you can explore displays of antique machinery, household appliances, traditional crafts, model railways, a colonial store, an old carpentry workshop, and the recently opened "Office of Sick Instruments" (Gabinet chorych instrumentów).
The exhibition now spans 22 rooms—there is something interesting for everyone!
Admission: Donation token for museum exhibits – 25 PLN (Adults), 20 PLN (Children).
Payment on-site, no prior booking required.
Souvenirs, maps, plans of various fortresses, and a mapped guide of Fort VI with descriptions will be available for purchase on-site.
We welcome you and your families—children are more than welcome!
Parking is available in front of the fort gate, along with bicycle parking facilities.
