Join Forrest Health Trauma Services and the MS Trauma Care Foundation for Live Smart: Injury Prevention Starts Here on Wednesday, July 15, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Forrest General Hospital cafeteria meeting rooms.
Community members are invited to stop by the injury prevention booths outside the cafeteria meeting rooms to visit with vendors, learn safety tips and gather helpful resources.
The event will also include educational sessions, including:
Community Sessions
10 a.m. | Burn Safety with the Fire Department
10:30 a.m. | Avoiding Falls with the MS Brain Injury Coalition
Healthcare Worker Sessions
11:30 a.m. | Head, Heart, Heat, Hemoglobin with Dr. Mike Williamson
12 p.m. | Fall Prevention with Orthopedics
12:20 p.m. | Therapy Dogs with Keri Galey
