You're invited to the World Premiere of DEFECT. FORMER's long-time-coming surf film led by founders Dane Reynolds and Craig Anderson.
Featuring surfing from the full FORMER surf team: Dane Reynolds, Craig Anderson, Ben Howard, Shaun Manners, Jake Kelley, Jay Davies, Kaito Ohashi, Gabe Morvil, Dion Agius, Dillon Perillo, James Kusitino, Timo Simmers, Matt Hoy, and Kai McKenzie.
This project has been shaped over multiple trips, injuries, setbacks, improvisations, and unpredictable conditions. The result is a full-length film that documents a process that was anything but controlled.
The night kicks off with live music from local band Chatterton, followed by an on-stage Q&A panel with FORMER's surf team discussing the making of the film and behind-the-scenes stories from the road.
Raffle tickets will be handed out to everyone who comes through the door, with giveaways from FORMER, Yeti, Channel Islands, Manera Wetsuits and more.
Exclusive DEFECT merchandise will be available for purchase on the night. Only available at premieres.
