This art class invites teens to explore shape, volume, and expressive drawing techniques inspired by the quiet poetry of Giorgio Morandi and the elegance of Japanese monochrome art.

Through a series of guided exercises, students will learn how simplicity, repetition, and thoughtful use of space can create powerful visual impact.

1. Pencil Drawing
   Learn how to build form and volume using line, hatching, and tonal construction, focusing on structure, proportion, and depth.
2. Still Life in the Spirit of Giorgio Morandi
   Create a calm, minimalist still life using repeated forms, soft tones, and balanced composition, inspired by Morandi’s meditative approach to everyday objects.

• Understanding of form and three-dimensional volume
• Graphic expressiveness and line quality
• Observation, patience, and visual sensitivity
• Confidence in working with different drawing materials

This class is ideal for teens who want to deepen their drawing skills, explore fine art traditions, and develop a thoughtful, expressive approach to visual art.
