Forgotten History Tours

Juneteenth at Pottsgrove Manor features special Black History-themed tours. See the Manor through the eyes of the free and enslaved individuals who lived and labored in Potts family households and the larger iron industry. Our staff and volunteers are busy researching their lives, recovering lost biographies, reconstructing family trees, and tracing their lines of descent. We're discovering something new every day! Learn their names, hear their stories, and discover how Black ironworkers supported the Revolutionary cause.
