Forgotten Harvest Charitable Yoga Retreat + Fundraiser

Celebrate the charitable season and make a tangible difference with a half-day yoga retreat led by Lauren J. Williams, hosted on behalf of Forgotten Harvest at PLAYGROUND DETROIT.

By attending, you directly support Michigan’s largest food rescue organization. Last year alone, Forgotten Harvest rescued over 40 million pounds of fresh, excess food from grocery stores, restaurants, farmers, and other sources to deliver food free of charge to our neighbors in need.More than half a million people in Metro Detroit, including nearly 180,000 children, are facing hunger.

This half-day yoga retreat features meditation, movement, journaling, and community. To participate, please register to reserve your spot. You are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate or make a financial contribution; every act of support helps fight hunger.

December 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at PLAYGROUND DETROIT, located at 2845 Gratiot Ave, Detroit, MI 48207.
