Come join Forging Community at the Ely Folk School to take a "Forge Your Own Camping Tools" class.
Use blacksmithing to create useful camping tools and gadgets in this one day class. Students will produce heavy duty tent stakes, sturdy roasting forks, and fire steels.
Previous blacksmithing experience is strongly encouraged; students must have previously taken "Taste of Blacksmithing" or have independent experience to participate. Beginners may take the "Taste of Blacksmithing" on Friday night to prepare for class.
Class will take place "outside" -- in the uninsulated Leino Forge -- please dress accordingly.
Feel free to bring something to cook over the forge for lunch.
