The John & Kathy Young Automotive Award was established in January 2022.

Applicants are pursuing a degree or certificate in Automotive Technology

at Mchenry County College in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Winners are awarded

a generous monetary gift and an exclusive automotive tool.

MiRPA, incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in 2009, seeks to promote

and preserve the history of motorsports in the Midwest through educational and

community programs. Monthly Coffee & Cars gatherings, an annual car show at

Raceway Woods, and annual Wall of Fame Gala are activities that support our mission.
