Forest Restoration Workshop at the Pines below the LaTourette Greenway - We’ll meet at the entrance to the bike path on the Old Mill Road (west of Richmond Hill Road) next to the old St. Andrews Church. We’ll follow the Greenway to where we planted Pitch Pines in March and then split our group so that some of us can root out Japanese Knotweed that is over-growing the pines and others can cut vines along the lower bike path. Please register through Eventbrite so we know how many volunteers to prepare for (search for Protectors of Pine Oak Woods and select Forest Restoration Workshop from the list).
