Forest Families Winter Hike & Nature Play

Join us at the beautiful Cascade Valley Metro Park-Oxbow Area for a fun-filled morning of winter wonder!

This will be a special time to relax with your family, explore nature, and enjoy some fresh air!

First, we will hike along the Oxbow Trail, enjoying the Cuyahoga River and searching for signs of winter animals!

After our 1.2- mile hike, we will enjoy s'mores and play in snow!

What To Bring:

• Weather appropriate outdoor clothing & shoes
• Water, snacks, and anything basics your little one might need
• We will provide light snacks!

What To Expect

• Nature-based play opportunities
• Opportunities for families to explore at their own pace
• Time to meet other families who love nature

Things To Consider:

• Children who cannot walk should be carried.
• This is a natural trail on an uneven surface.
• This is a public park, other visitors and/or dogs will be present.
• You are responsible for your child at all times.
• Strollers are not recommended for this hike.
