Forest Bathing: New Shoots

Welcome to the Forest Bathing: New Shoots event happening at Rushcliffe Country Park on Sun Feb 2nd 2025 at 13:00 PM! Join us for a day of reconnecting with nature and celebrating the impending arrival of spring.

The start of February is an important moment across many cultures and traditions, from Groundhog Day to the celtic Imbolc, from Chinese new year to the Christian Candlemas. And for good reason too - these first few days of the month will see the long awaited arrival of the snowdrops, as the elder trees begin to come into bloom, and as new life begins to return after a season of dormancy. While there remains much of winter to be enjoyed, the arrival of these new shoots are a welcome and exciting sight!

Join us as we engage in an afternoon of gentle, nourishing forest bathing in our own beautiful, private woodlands in Nottinghamshire. We will be focusing on some key themes relating to the season: returning light, renewal, transition, and new life.
