Join Roanoke Urban Forestry for this exciting introduction to the practice of Forest Bathing or Shinrin-Yoku. In collaboration with Carilion Community Health and Outreach, participants will learn how to tune their senses to connect with the forest, and how bridging this gap can help improve their mental and physical health. We'll provide a guided walk, forest meditation and yoga, and offering blood-pressure readings before and after the workshop. Instructor: Sam MatsonPLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY FOR AN ON TIME DEPARTURE!

10:05am-10:10am BP readings
10:10am-11am Forest Bathing lesson
11am-11:45am Guided yoga/meditation
11:45am-12pm final BP readings and departure
