A fascinating afternoon with a walk, hands-on activities and an exploration of foraging, food, wild edible plants & fermentation
About this Event

Join us for a guided walk from Winchester School of Art through the Winnall Moors and back, followed by an introduction to local growing practices and a simple hands-on fermentation session using locally foraged and farmed ingredients. We will explore edible wild plants, small scale food growing, and food preservation, while also sampling locally produced foods. Participants are encouraged to bring a recycled jar to take home something made during the workshop.

There will also be an opportunity to try the results of the day at a special event ‘In an English Country Garden’ at The Deane House on Sunday June 28th. This is a separate chargeable event. See separate Eventbrite event for details.
