Foraging at Katy Prairie

Attendees will get hands-on experience guided by Dr. Mark "Merriwether" Vorderbruggen, who has been teaching foraging in Texas for 20 years and has written two books on the edible wild plants and mushrooms of Texas. Students will learn where to find, how to identify, and how to prepare the amazing foods growing around you. You'll have increased food security and be able to amaze your friends and family with fantastic dishes!
