Foraging 101 with the North Lakeland Discovery Center

The Rhinelander District Library is pleased to welcome Jenna from the North Lakeland Discovery Center for Foraging 101 on Wednesday, July 29th, 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the library meeting room. Join Naturalist Jenna as we take a journey through a year's phenological calendar where together we will explore plant and fungus species that can be foraged in the greater Northwoods region. Additionally, participants will be invited to learn about proper foraging techniques, cautions to consider while foraging, and recipes. Teens and adults welcome, no registration required.
