Come learn about plant foraging and to identify some of the plants in our area.
Specifically, we’ll be learning about and looking for:
Stinging nettle
Cleavers
Motherwort
All of which I spotted there last week.
We’ll meet in the parking lot and learn how to identify each plant, then head out for a guided walk to see if we can find them.
Foraging isn’t allowed at Fargo parks, so we won’t be collecting, but you’ll leave with the knowledge of how to spot these plants when you go out exploring in other areas.
Event starts on time, so late-comers will have to find us on the trail.
If there’s rain, the event will be rescheduled.
