Welcome wild ones!
Master forager & herbalist Lindsey Coyne from Des Moines, will visit Fairfield September 14 and lead us on a FORAGE WALK & WILD HARVEST MEAL.
The guide forage adventure starts at 3:00 PM at a nearby location To Be Determined...and then shifts to John Freeberg/Susan Walsh and Tiffany Raine’s Wild Spirits Farm around 5:00 pm to prepare our sumptuous harvest meal with our wild gatherings.
The event will wrap up at around 6:30.
The cost for the guided walk and meal is $60, but only $50 if you enroll and pay by September 4.
ENROLLMENT IS LIMITED TO 12.

Lindsey Coyne is an herbalist, holistic health educator and forager in central Iowa with a Bachelor's degree in human nutrition and dietetics from Southern Illinois University:
I use an eclectic and holistic approach to plant medicine. I began learning herbal medicine over 20 years ago by treating myself for common ailments. I have had a strong focus on foraging local edibles and medicinal plants for the last 10 years.
I offer herbal medicine making classes, DIY home and body products workshops, cooking/ baking demonstration and foraging walks throughout the year.
As a sustainable forager, I spend time in nature, waiting for the plants to be at their optimal potency, using only those that are prolific in any given season. It is my intention to be a steward of this land and to teach others on the path. Private land walks available!
