Discover the beauty that can be made from ‘waste’ paper with Jo Neville from Paper Couture. Begin with a short tour of the exhibition 'Joan Ross: Those trees came back to me in my dreams' and gather inspiration to take with you into the workshop. Explore key themes of consumption and greed, and their effects on the environment to inspire your sustainable crafting with Jo.Jo will demonstrate a range of simple crafting techniques and guide you in creating your own exquisite branch or bunch of exotic blooms.
This workshop will encourage you to look at the paper we all have in our homes as a material with potential to be transformed into a thing of beauty.
All materials provided but you are welcome to bring your favourite branded packaging papers such as shopping bags or wrapping paper. For teens aged 14–18 years.
