For freelancers working with children & young people in Southwark
About this Event
Many of us who support the wellbeing and creativity of children and young people (CYP) know that we can achieve so much when likeminded organisations work together. That’s exactly what’s happening with a new strategic partnership between Southbank Centre, NHS South East London Integrated Care Board and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Together they’re developing a creative health programme for children and young people focused on prevention, early intervention and community based creative health solutions, shaped by local need.
This group reflective practice session invites you to share your observations as a freelance practitioner supporting creative activities for children and young people in Southwark.
- What's already happening that you can see is really impactful?
- What needs to children & young people have that are not currently being met?
- How could this partnership support strong relationships between local, grassroots activities and larger organisations like Southbank?
During the session there will be opportunities to connect with other freelance practitioners in the borough and extend your networks.
Please note that staff from Southbank, SEL ICB and SCHWeP will be joining the session in a listening capacity and to enable recommendations to be taken forward.
Places are limited.
Lunch available from 12.30pm, please let us know when booking if you will be staying for lunch and any dietary requirements.
