The Pre-convention Training is hosted by Common Ground Producers & Growers. This year and every year we host this training "For Farmers’ Sake". We acknowledge the farmers’ role in the local food system and make it a point to inform new/beginning farmers and specialty crop growers how to increase production, be sustainable, conduct business, and make the right connections.This year farmers and growers will learn how to navigate these hard times, how to garden differently, marketing, how to create a value added product, and more.
The Pre-convention will be:
- October 31: 1:00 - 7:30 PM
- November 1: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Hilton Garden Inn Salina
- $55 (registration available soon)
- Scholarships are available, but limited.
Meals are included in the registration price. Hotel stay must be purchased separately.
