For ages 9-14: Algae Accessories

Join us in person for a super fun and creative workshop where you'll learn how to make better plastic using cool and eco-friendly algae string. Then we'll use that string to make accessories-bracelets, key chains, or whatever is meaningful to you!

This class is part of a research study funded by the National Science Foundation (Award #: 2415876) that seeks to understand the learning affordances and constraints of doing hands-on, modern life science in informal learning environments. Parents/guardians will therefore be asked to complete a research consent form. Participants who complete the research forms and participate in the class will receive a $20 gift card.
