LET'S RIDE!!FoPP's Park to Park Pedal is set for 4/11.
WHAT it is: A bike ride designed for ALL levels that highlights the interconnectedness of our city parks using one of Atlanta's nicest amenities - the Beltline.
WHY: To encourage all types of riders (including less experienced bikers) to get out on the trail and to foster community among individuals who support our parks. The ride also gives experienced riders a chance to help others develop cycling skills and confidence.
WHERE: We ride from one park to another ... from Perkerson Park to Washington Park (mostly on the Beltline).
WHEN: April 11, 2026, 5:30 PM. Meet at the red sculpture on Deckner.
DETAILS: Depending on who rides, we do a leisurely ride from Perkerson Park over to Adair Park – where the riders with youngsters can hit the playground. This is a great spot for those who want a short ride to turn around and head back to Perkerson Park. Those who want a longer ride can stay with the group and pedal over to Washington Park.
As per the tradition, we’ll stop somewhere at Lee & White on the way back to Perkerson Park.
The goal is to enjoy the ride – so you don’t need to be a strong cyclist to join. ANY type of runners or rollers are invited (roller blades, scooters, wheelchairs, e-bikes, UNICYCLES, etc.)
