This week, we’re celebrating Filipino American History Month with a very special experience!

We’ll be watching a short documentary, “Between Two Worlds,” as Megan Reyes journeys to her homeland, discovers her roots, explores the growth of soccer in the Philippines, and highlights the impact of the Philippines women’s national football team.

Plus, we’ll have a meet and greet with a Philippines national team player Eva Madarang! Come hang out, play soccer, take photos, and get autographs while enjoying pick-up games and celebrating community, culture, and connection.

Eva Silva Madarang is a footballer for the PHILIPPINES WOMEN’S NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM, known for her versatility and fierce style of play. Born in New Jersey and raised in California, Eva proudly represents her Filipino heritage on the international stage. she has played as a right back, midfielder, and striker, bringing energy and adaptability to every position.

A standout at Moorpark College and Rogers State University, Eva’s drive and leadership earned her multiple honors, including team MVP and All-Conference recognition. Internationally, she made a name for herself during the 2018 AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers, scoring four goals in five games and helping the Philippines reach new heights.
