Footwork & Styling Class

We are breaking away from partnerwork for one hour every Wednesday to focus entirely on you. This class is designed to build a rock-solid foundation in traditional Dominican footwork, helping you master the syncopations, rhythms, and authentic flavor.

We will bridge the gap between classic roots and modern social dancing, teaching you exactly how to drop eye-catching footwork and smooth body movement seamlessly into your dance.

• Dominican Essentials: Traditional steps, syncopated rhythms, and playful musicality.
• Body Isolation & Styling: How to add natural flavor, hip movement, and poise without looking stiff or forced.
• Weight Transfers & Speed: Build the agility and balance needed to nail fast footwork effortlessly.
• Social Floor Confidence: Learn when and how to break apart from your partner and shine on your own.
