Grounded in biomechanics and fascial science,, this program moves beyond static assessment to explore how the foot moves dynamically.
About this Event

This two-day immersive course is designed for health, movement, and performance professionals who want to deepen their understanding of how foot posture and gait influence the entire body. Grounded in biomechanics, sensory science, and real-world application, this program moves beyond static assessment to explore how the foot adapts, loads, and organizes movement over time.

Participants will learn how to assess, interpret, and influence foot posture and gait patterns to support efficient movement, injury resilience, and long-term function.

Day 1: Foot Posture Specialist

Date: Saturday March 28,2026

Time: 12pm-6pm

Understanding Structure, Alignment, and Sensory Foundations

Day 1 focuses on the static and dynamic foundations of foot posture—how the foot is shaped, how it organizes itself under load, and how sensory input influences alignment and stability.

Rather than labeling feet as “good” or “bad,” this day teaches participants to understand posture as an adaptive expression of structure, sensation, and environment.

Key learning objectives include:
  • Foot posture classification and common postural patterns
  • Structural influences on alignment, including arch behavior and forefoot–rearfoot relationships
  • The role of sensory input and plantar awareness in postural control
  • How foot posture influences balance, load distribution, and proximal joint mechanics
  • Assessment strategies for identifying compensations and adaptive strategies
  • Practical interventions to support foot posture through awareness, movement, and sensory engagement

By the end of Day 1, participants will be able to confidently assess foot posture, understand why certain patterns emerge, and apply strategies that support alignment without over-correction.

Day 2: Gait Specialist

Date:Sunday March 29,2026

Time: 9am- 5pm

From Standing Still to Moving Well

Day 2 builds on the foundation of foot posture by exploring gait as a dynamic, whole-body process. Participants will learn how posture expresses itself through walking and running, and how sensory, neuromuscular, and mechanical factors influence gait efficiency.

This day emphasizes movement intelligence—how the body adapts step-by-step, rather than idealizing perfect gait patterns.

Key learning objectives include:
  • The phases of gait and how the foot transitions through load, propulsion, and adaptation
  • How foot posture influences gait mechanics and movement variability
  • Sensory and nervous system contributions to gait timing and coordination
  • Common gait compensations and what they reveal about underlying function
  • Observation and assessment of gait patterns in real-world settings
  • Practical strategies to improve gait efficiency through sensory input, posture awareness, and progressive loading

By the end of Day 2, participants will understand gait as an adaptive process and be equipped with tools to influence walking and running patterns in a way that supports performance, resilience, and longevity.
