Would you like to become a Museum Foodie?
Our Foodie Group meet monthly to discuss, cook and eat food inspired by stories from our collection, artists and events we programme, as well as our own members heritage’s and backgrounds. Our workshops are informal, chatty and a chance to meet new people, as well as learn about new recipes and cooking traditions.
In this month’s session, our regular Foodie attendee Kit will be sharing some delicious recipes to celebrate Chinese New Year! We’ll be trying our hand at making crispy baked dumplings, sesame balls and fried radish cakes – all commonly eaten during new year celebrations! Kit will share some of the cultures around Chinese New Year and tell us about the similarities to Jewish culture.
So, join us to expand your Asian cooking knowledge and sample some new and exciting flavours!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
This activity is designed for anyone aged 18 or over.
