Foodie Friday (Greek Street Food)

This summer, we're once again extending the Friday opening hours at our Altrincham Market Community Kitchen for a series of Foodie Friday nights - hosting a variety of themed evenings with delicious food!

On Friday 26th June we'll be hosting a Greek Street Food party - going off script from our regular Community Kitchen menu and serving up our favourite Greek street food dishes! Check our social media (@BouncebackFood) nearer the time for updates on the menu. We'll have a range of drinks & cocktails too.

There are only a limited number of free tickets available so grab them while you can and invite your friends...

This will be our ninth fundraising Foodie Friday event - having hosted Thai, Indian, Spanish, South Korean, Mexican and American Diner themed nights over summers gone by. Come along and try something new, enjoy tasty food, and connect with the community. All proceeds will support our social enterprise as we tackle food poverty and food waste across Greater Manchester and beyond.

Who are we?

Bounceback Food CIC is a social enterprise fighting food poverty on multiple fronts. Since 2014 our Community Cookery School teams have been teaching people how to cook, running foodbank drives at market events, helping people get jobs in the food sector and coordinating community meal drives that provide emergency meals for our beneficiaries.

Since 2014 we have taught 12,500+ people how to cook, including stroke survivors, young carers, food bank beneficiaries and elderly people living in sheltered accommodation. We have also secured 25,000+ donations to food banks and generated over 325,000 meals for people in need via our catering, community meal drives and cookery workshops.
