About this Event
Food52’s Cookbook Club is gathering IRL for a Friendsgiving with special guests Hetty Lui McKinnon and NYC cookbook club organizer Stephanie Lau.
We’ll be bringing and sharing dishes from Hetty’s book, , the IACP Award-winning cookbook that Food52 Cookbook Club members have been cooking from as our “Book of the Year.” With sweet and savory recipes for 22 vegetables including squash, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and cauliflower, Tenderheart is the perfect book to dig into ahead of Thanksgiving to find your new favorite main, side, or dessert for this year’s feast.
We’ll send you a sign-up sheet once you register to share the dish you want to bring and make sure you’re not duplicating. (Hetty will be bringing a dish and signing cookbooks, too, so bring your copy of Tenderheart and her other titles from your shelves!) You’ll have access to our Test Kitchen ovens to warm things up, but we ask that you bring your dish ready-made. As a thank you for making and bringing a dish, we’ll have gift totes to take home and you’ll be entered to win a special prize for your holiday cooking.
