Join Us as a Volunteer for the Food Packaging Initiative

Cornerstone is seeking 15 dedicated volunteers to help assemble healthy food bags for children in our community. Your time and effort will help ensure that no child in Hamilton goes hungry.

Overview

Food4Kids Hamilton provides nutritious food bags to nearly 1,700 children in 87 schools across Hamilton each week. These essential bags will be prepared by the Food4Kids Hamilton team with the support of volunteers like you. This is a fun, fast-paced, and vital role that makes a significant impact!

Details of the Initiative

Volunteers will work together to:

• Arrange food items on tables
• Assemble each bag with one of every item provided
• Place completed bags on shelves for counting and distribution to schools in program

Once packed, the bags are delivered to children in need through the Weekends Without Hunger Program.
