Ever put your produce in the fridge only to have them wilt the next day? Wish your fruit and veggies could last longer before you are ready to eat them? The Proper food storage workshop covers tips and tricks in ways to prolong and revitalize your foods! From fridge temp and organization, to shelf life, to what should not be paired with what = you can increase your food's lifespan and reduce food waste!
Also, an even better way to store food properly is with reusables! Many reusable food-saving products can be made right at home, including beeswax wraps, reusable sandwich bags, bowl covers, tea bags, and even popcorn bags! Our workshop will detail what products you can make at home for your kitchen and take-aways and how to make them, with take-home directions and material lists.
