Come to the Valparaiso Farmers Markets on TUESDAYS this season to drop-off your food waste!
We will be at the Valparaiso Farmers Market every TUESDAY from 9am-1pm at Urschel Pavilion in downtown Valparaiso.
This goes until the end of the market season on October 6th, 2026.
Community members are encouraged to bring their food scraps such as, fruit and vegetable peelings, coffee grounds, and eggshells, to the market. Volunteers will be on hand to ensure that the waste is suitable for composting and to provide guidance on composting practices.
