The Food Not Bombs Valentines Fundraiser is coming February 13th, the day before Valentines! Join us at Black Cat Tavern at 9:00pm and watch a trio of bands perform their hearts out. Landfall, Dead Ex Girlfriends, and Grond will all be there, so make sure not to miss out! Advance tickets are priced at $10 or $20 at the door, but make sure to bring extra cash for Food Not Bombs merchandise as well as chocolates and roses for your partners the day after. All proceeds from the event will be going to support Food Not Bombs Saskatoon.
Food Not Bombs is an international volunteer activist movement focused on providing free vegan and vegetarian meals to people in need. We are focused on non-violent direct action towards the problems of war, poverty, environmental destruction, and food insecurity. While a large portion of the food we receive is in the form of donations, we do still require funds to continue providing meals. All donations given will help us continue operating throughout the next year and the years to follow. So come on down to Black Cat Tavern and help support both us and the amazing and lovely bands that will join us on Feb 13!
