This special film screening is part of Food at 400+ “Food in Film” series, in partnership with Salem Food Tours. Food at 400+, runs June 11th to 22nd. We hope you enjoy all of these classic films, a feast for the eyes.
Make it dinner + a movie: Food at 400+ includes a special restaurant event, “Restaurants Deliciously Step Back in Time”, where over 15 Salem restaurants will feature historically inspired dishes or ingredients on their special menu.
Film synopsis: A documentary on 85-year-old sushi master Jiro Ono, his renowned Tokyo restaurant, and his relationship with his son and eventual heir, Yoshikazu.
Two screenings: Wednesday, June 17th at 7pm & Saturday, June 20th at 1pm
