You don't need a giant garden plot to grow food - just hanging baskets and planters.In this beginner-friendly workshop, we address all of the essential elements of container gardening. This includes how to select suitable plants, when to plant, what containers to use and how to care for the plants. We will focus on the most popular edibles like strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, herbs, lettuce and greens.
This workshop will focus on growing food in containers. If you are looking to grow food in the ground or large raised beds, please check out our Beginners Food Gardening workshop instead.
The cost for this workshop is $25 (plus tax).
Note: Workshop spaces are transferable but non-refundable.
