Join us for an evening of neighborhood learning, conversation, and community care. Over the past semester, Hamline University public health interns Kylie and Laniya have been digging deep into food accessibility, street outreach, and neighborhood health across Hamline Midway — and they’re excited to share what they’ve learned.
Throughout the fall, they’ve:
• Mapped out local food resources
• Documented how outreach organizations support unhoused neighbors
• Identified gaps, challenges, and advocacy opportunities
• Connected with dozens of residents, partners, and volunteers
At this community presentation, they’ll walk us through:
✨ Key findings on food access in the neighborhood
✨ An analysis of street outreach efforts and emerging needs
✨ Recommendations for neighbors, partners, and local officials
✨ A vision for strengthening community-driven health and care systems
Whether you’re a neighbor, a partner organization, or simply curious about how student-led research can support local wellbeing, you’re invited. This event is open to everyone.
We hope you’ll join us for an informative and inspiring evening.
