FONG Scavenger Hunt

The Old New-Gate Pr*son and Copper Mine is a historic site in East Granby. It has the remnants of a Pr*son from the 1700's built around a copper mine from the 1600's. Come see it and hear the stories of it's history.

Info: The game objective is to discover as many scavenger items as possible within a 45-minute period **Winner will be determined by the greatest number of discoveries in the shortest elapsed time **Points will be deducted if the allotted time is exceeded (45 minutes) **Discovered location item tag number to be recorded on Discovery Sheet to prove discovery **There will be 3 prizes,1st prize plaque with $75 local restaurant gift card, 2nd prize plaque with $50 local restaurant gift card, 3rd prize plaque with $25 local restaurant gift card **Teams can have between 2 and 5 members, 2-member team is $20 to play, 3 – 5 member team is $25 play **First team starts at 10:00 AM **Last team starts at 4:00 PM **Teams will launch at 15-minute intervals **Participants must stay out of posted areas **No climbing on objects is required nor allowed *Adequate time is allotted, so no running is necessary **Mutual respect and colonial manners will rule the day
