Gentle walk in Folkestone centre starting at Gourmet Kitchen looking at today shops that used to trade in cloth, finishing at the Urban Room
About this Event

An historical walk starting in Sandgate Road, going through the town centre, down the Old High Street, Tontine Street finishing at The Urban Room. After a short coffee break we will use bright coloured threads to embroider old black and white photographs of Folkestone. The embellished art works will be displayed (with the agreement of the participants) in the Urban Room for the period of the Open Art Folke 24.
