Folk Tales Unpacked: Beyond the happily ever after

Folk Tales Unpacked is a live storytelling event featuring three tellers, each presenting a traditional folk or fairy tale enriched with historical context, cultural depth, and a candid look at how these ancient stories have been transformed — and what was lost along the way.

This isn't a children's show, and it isn't a lecture. It's a living history experience in the truest sense: old stories told out loud, in a room, by human voices, with their full weight restored.

You'll experience:

• Three original live storytelling performances drawn from the folk tradition
• The real histories behind stories most audiences think they already know
• Cultural variants, regional traditions, and the surprising gap between familiar versions and their origins
