The second Thursday of the month, we welcome the very best local singer-songwriters to Temperance. Another wonderful line-up. Just £5.
This month, curated by Temperance, Andi Wolf introduces five more hugely talented local musicians.
This month we have another superb line-up. All are fabulous and a great mix of styles. A wonderful opportunity to experience some of the best in local music up close and comfy. This month, we have the very welcome return of the fabulous annA rydeR and Kirsten Smitten. And the folk club debut of Adam Phillips, better known as being a member of The Swaps and our blues club. And two fabulous debutantes - Sarah Riches and Ellie Galvin. Very talented and very entertaining too. We can't wait for you to hear them play.
We are not like any other folk club. Each month (second Thursday), we now have six local musicians playing short four song sets of original, contemporary music to an appreciative crowd. Not too many beards and sandals. Beards are just about OK.
It is as much about networking between musicians as it is about an opportunity to play new songs to a new audience. On a great sound system. As ever, a mix of up and coming musicians and those who are more established. Mainly original music with the odd cover. Always brilliant evenings. Live-streamed if you can't make it but always better in person!
