Jennifer Reid performs Lancashire dialect work song and Manchester street song.
Cruckle are a North West duo who are well know for there corrosive live performances. Expect circuit bent machines churning over melodic techno rhythms.
basement wishes (Basit Khan and Suriyah) is a collective formed by & for ritual devotionalists of the Kashmiri diaspora operating in the Sufi North, exploring submerged and sacred spaces through reappropriation of folk law.
Tanith Mab is suffering from internet poisoning, making latent pictures of aesthetic knowledge and transhumanfolk. Born in Hulme and making from her studio in Salford.
Luke Hemingway is an artist from Bolton whose work mirrors the myths and memories woven into the fabric of the North West. With Worktown, he crafts a dreamlike exploration of identity and place, illuminating the hidden stories that define the region’s spirit, past, present and future.
Tommy Ryoma is a multi-disciplinary artist from Bury. They operate between film, live performance, music and sculptural practices, drawing from ideas around hauntology, personal experiences and contemporary folk-law in the North West.
Chermansog is an organism interested in exploring ties between the ancient and modern, natural and synthetic. Shooting cloud-like tendrils from deep chthonic crusts into the highest celestial vistas, Hadden Grainger and Adrian Steele fuse folk, noise, metal and experimental improvisation to form a wholly unique sonic beast.
Grace Clifford mainly works in sculpture and installation. She has recently been thinking about desire and suffering, chocolate, metal, God, wheat, mourning something that can't die, horses and vitality.
Dudley Dream Walsh asks questions about nature, the entirety, and the edges - by mapping internal and external realms. And what’s beyond rationalism, beyond capitalism? Can we have a new word for new? Dudley explores ideas of survival, landlessness and worklessness.
THANK YOU!
